Hydrogel Wound Dressings

Hydrogel Wound Dressing — Moisture Control for Faster Healing

Hydrogel dressings provide a cool, soothing, high-water-content barrier that maintains a moist wound environment, absorbs light exudate, and supports autolytic debridement. Flexible, non‑adherent, and con-formable, they minimize pain and trauma at dressing changes.

Indications: partial- and full-thickness wounds, burns, skin tears, radiation-damaged skin.

Key benefits:

  • Speeds epithelialization via hydration

  • Reduces pain and dressing-change discomfort

  • Promotes natural debridement and cleaner wound beds

  • Conforms to irregular surfaces; won’t stick

  • Available as sheets, gels, or impregnated pads

Use: for low–moderate exudate or to rehydrate dry wounds. Change based on exudate and clinical judgment. Compatible with secondary dressings and negative-pressure therapy.
